چکیده
We consider static spherically symmetric solutions of the Einstein equations with cosmological constant Λ coupled to the SU(2) Yang Mills equations that are smooth at the origin r = 0. We prove that all such solutions have a radius rc at which there is a horizon. However, for any positive integer N , there exists a small positive ΛN , such that whenever 0 < Λ < ΛN , there exist at least N distinct solutions for which the singularity is only a coordinate singularity and the solution can be extended to r > rc.

0 Far Field Behavior of Noncompact Static Spherically Symmetric
There exist static spherically symmetric solutions of the Einstein equations with cosmological constant Λ coupled to the SU(2) Yang Mills equations that are smooth at the origin r = 0 and with an horizon which can be transformed away with a change of coordinates in which the radius increases across the singularity. We establish the global behavior of these solutions. Research performed while a ...

We consider static spherically symmetric solutions of the Einstein equations with cosmological constant Λ coupled to the SU(2) Yang Mills equations. We prove that under relatively mild conditions, any solution can be continued back to the origin of spherical symmetry and that the qualitative behavior of the solutions near the origin does not depend on Λ.
متن کاملAbsence of Static, Spherically Symmetric Black Hole Solutions for Einstein-Dirac-Yang/Mills Equations with Complete Fermion Shells
We study a static, spherically symmetric system of (2j + 1) massive Dirac particles, each having angular momentum j, j = 1, 2, . . . , in a classical gravitational and SU(2) Yang-Mills field. We show that for any black hole solution of the associated Einstein-Dirac-Yang/Mills equations, the spinors must vanish identically outside of the event horizon. e-print archive: http://xxx.lanl.gov/gr-qc/...
متن کاملExistence of Oscillating Solutions of Einstein Su(2) Yang-mills Equations
We give a rigorous proof that for small positive values of the cosmological constant the Einstein equations coupled to an SU(2) Yang-Mills connection yield oscillating spacetimes. These are static, spherically symmetric spacetimes that have the same topology as particle-like spacetimes but differ in geometry. We also give a strict upper bound on values of the cosmological constant that admit su...
